Choosing Titus Funeral Home's Cremation Center for your loved ones cremation is ideal for many families. We own and operate our own crematory with licensed and certified staff. Many other funeral homes hire 3rd party crematories and have to cross county lines with your loved one. These 3rd party providers often have multiple funeral homes transferring remains in and out at any given time. This makes it nearly impossible for those other funeral homes to manage and supervise the cremation as well as Titus Funeral Home's Cremation Center can.

Cremation Safeguards

To ensure security and eliminate the possibility of any error, the staff of Titus Funeral Home will place a personal identification band on your loved one when they enter into our care. Our unique tracking system is unlike any other in the area.

Our Unique Tracking System

At Titus Funeral Home's Cremation Center, every person in our care is logged into our tracking system and assigned an identification number which is stamped into a stainless steel identification disc and everyone has a special QR Code bracelet. This number is used to track every phase of the cremation process. Our tracking system includes date and time of arrival at our facility and digital documentation of every step along the way.

Our Cremation Process

Every staff member involved with cremation at Titus Funeral Home's Cremation Center is a Certified Cremation Specialist. Our high standards require that two individuals will review all cremation documents prior to cremation. Our thorough process ensures all paperwork is in proper order and that your loved one is cared for exactly as you specified.

We record the name of your loved one, the date and time of the cremation, identification number, crematory operator’s name, as well as additional information regarding the cremation. Our crematory log is dated and the time is noted and initialed by our cremation technician before and after the cremation.

After The Cremation

After the cremation is complete, the cremated remains are placed with the stainless steel identification disc into an urn. Your family will then be contacted to arrange for a convenient time to receive your loved one or to continue with services such as a Life Celebration or urn burial.
