William S. "Bill" Saunders

William S. “Bill” Saunders, 55, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on October 24, 1965 in Baltimore, MD to Edward D. & Mary A. (Allen) Saunders.

He graduated in 1985 from Hagerstown High School and moved to the Syracuse area in 1995 from Economy, IN. He formerly worked at Colbin Tool, Augsburger’s / Lances Supermarket, and Peterson’s Fish all in Syracuse.

He formerly attended Peaceful Valley Friends Church in Lynn, IN.

He is survived by:

Father – Edward Saunders of Syracuse

2 Sisters – Michelle Saunders of Syracuse and Patty (Danny Williams) of Economy

Several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his mother – Mary Saunders and sister – Shirley Saunders.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Pat Park of the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Spartanburg Cemetery.
