Vincent Zon

Vincent Lloyd Zon, of Silver Lake, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on May 26, 1961, in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of Leo J. and Bernadine Zon (Iwan).

Vincent loved spending time camping and enjoying the outdoors. He enjoyed cookouts with his family, where memories and stories were shared. One of his greatest joys was being with his grandchildren. He was known as handy, a jack of all trades but master of none and always ready to lend a hand or fix something around the house. Vincent was very close with his twin brother, Victor Zon, sharing a bond that lasted a lifetime.

He is survived by his children, Tabitha Shelhart and Vincent Zon Jr.; his grandchildren, Syrus, Solomon, Sawyer, and Audianna; his brothers, Victor Zon, Dwayne Zon, Mitchell Zon, and Darren Zon; along with his sister, Estelle Neddef. Vincent’s husky, Cash, was a loyal companion who brought joy to his days. He was preceded in death by his parents.
