Tyler S. Smith

Tyler S. Smith, age 36 and originally of Syracuse, IN, passed away in Putnam County, on February 9, 2023.

The son of the late Ronald and Rene (Samonte) Smith, Tyler was born in Indianapolis on May 31, 1986. He attended Wawasee Schools and worked as a cook at Oakwood for a short time.

An intelligent person with a quirky sense of humor, Tyler liked retro video games. He was a skilled gamer and looked forward to playing video games with his brother soon - he was moving back to the area in the coming year.

In addition to his twin brother, Ryan Smith, Tyler is survived by a sister, Tanya (West) Saltrick and husband, Eric and by three nephews: Dillon, Austin and Logan Luna. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents and parents. Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Syracuse is entrusted with care of Tyler and the Smith family.
