Thomas Harland Brookman

Thomas “Tom” H. Brookman, of Claypool, passed away unexpectedly at his home at the age of 71. Tom was born on April 11, 1951 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Harland and Betty Brookman.

Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman, often traveling to the wilds of Canada. He also enjoyed bowling, Western movies, and playing computer games. Tom will be remembered for his sense of humor and running jokes with his neighbors.

Tom will be missed by his life partner, Noma McPeak; daughter, Amy Brookman; 6 grandchildren; step-children, Kayla (Samuel) Young and Gauge (Courtney) McPeak; sisters, Carolyn (Rich) Wise, Sue Ann (Mike) Hatfield, and Judy Wilcox; and brother, Ron (Lynn) Brookman. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barb.
