Susanna J. Cox

Susanna J. “Sue” Cox, 82, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 8:21 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. She was born on July 11, 1935 in Marion, IN to Roscoe & Josephine (Griffin) Thrailkill.

She attended VanBuren High School in Van Buren, IN and was married on February 15, 1953 in VanBuren to Chester L. Cox who survives. She was a homemaker and moved to Leesburg in 1991 from Marion.

She was a member of the Fisher Body Sympathy Club and former member of the Pentecostal Church in Marion.

She is survived by:

Husband – Chester Cox of Leesburg, IN

Daughter – Barb Cox of Muncie

Son – Gregory (Sandra) Cox of Kendallville

2 Granddaughters – Amanda (Brad) Hinen & Heather (Phil) Perlich

4 Gt. Grandchildren – Paige, Chase, Trey, Emmalynn Jane

2 Sisters – Mary (Guy) Bollinger of Albany, IN& Darlene (James) Benbow of Kendallville

2 Brothers – Floyd (Carolyn) Thrailkill of Hartford City, IN & Robert “Daniel” (Jenny) Thrailkill of Sun City, AZ

Several Nieces & Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents & brother – Roscoe Thrailkill Jr.

There will be no public visitation or services. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Etna Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500 N, North Webster, IN is in charge of arrangements.
