Susan Ferrier

Susan Marie Ferrier (Gardner), age 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 20,2026 in her home in Syracuse on hospice. She was born at Bremen Hospital on April 2, 1961, to Harland Sr. and Phyllis Gardner (Rudolph).

Susan graduated from Fairfield High School. After high school, she spent several years as a nanny in New York and Chicago. She married Kevin Ferrier on July 3, 2004. She spent all her spare time with her nieces and nephews; she loved to spoil them.

Susan is survived by her husband, Kevin Ferrier of Syracuse, brothers and sisters, Bernard (Patricia) Gardner of New Paris, Deborah Avery of Syracuse, Donna Gardner of Goshen, Harland Jr. (Janet) Gardner and John Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Phyllis Gardner, brother, Roland Gardner, brother-in-law, Charles Avery and niece, Sarah Carroll (Mast.
