Steven P. "Steve" Rookstool

Steven Phillip “Steve” Rookstool, 48, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 2:44 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. He was born on June 23, 1969 in Warsaw, IN to Terry Allen & Ruthie Mae (Ervin) Rookstool.

He attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN and was a lifetime Syracuse / Cromwell area resident. He was formerly employed at Guardian Industries in Ligonier for 9 years and Supreme Corporation in Goshen.

He is survived by:

Son – Trey Rookstool of Syracuse

Parents – Terry & Ruthie Rookstool of Warsaw

Maternal Grandmother – Frances Ervin of Ligonier

Niece – Ruby Martin of Cromwell

He was preceded in death by his sister – Teresa Marner.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N S.R. 15, Warsaw, IN.
