Stanley Norman Phillips, known to most as Stan, passed away on December 7, 2023, at his home in Warsaw. He was surrounded by an abundance of love from his family. Stan was born on September 4, 1943, in Warsaw to parents, George and Phyllis Kleckner Phillips - both of whom have passed.

Stan was a graduate of Warsaw High School and spent his entire life in the area he called home. In his youth, he worked for DePuy before joining Cover-All, which is now known as Cintas. He worked there as a route driver, delivering uniforms and mats to businesses across the area. Stan took great pride in his work and built strong relationships with the people he served.

One of Stan's greatest joys in life was his family. He shared 57 wonderful years of marriage,  devoted and dedicated to wife, Linda. Together they raised two beloved daughters, Ranai Smith (Brian) and Vicki Cook (Jeff), all of whom reside in Warsaw.

Family was the center of Stan's world. He cherished the quiet moments and family vacations together. Coaching his daughters' summer softball leagues brought him immense joy. Many evenings were spent in the bleachers enthusiastically cheering them on during their year-round sports activities.

Stan had a jovial personality that made him a magnet for laughter and joy. He rarely knew a stranger and effortlessly connected with people from all walks of life. His humor brightened countless lives, leaving behind precious memories for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

When spending time with family and friends, Stanley enjoyed playing euchre, card games, and marbles. These activities brought out his competitive spirit while creating cherished moments filled with camaraderie.

In addition to his successful career and loving family life, Stan proudly served in the US Army National Guard Reserve. His dedication displayed both gratitude towards his country; he carried the values he acquired during his service throughout his life.

Stan is preceded in passing by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; two brothers, Steve and Sidney Phillips and grandson, Andy Cook.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; daughters: Ranai and Vicki  and six grandchildren: Tyler (Victoria) Larrew of Warsaw, Tiana Larrew of South Bend, Kiersten Smith of San Diego, CA, Jeremy McCartney of Warsaw, Kylie Smith of Warsaw, and Alex Cook of Warsaw. Each grandchild held a special place in Stan's heart. He also leaves behind his sister, Sandra Holguin of Mesa, AZ.
