Shirley J. Reynolds

Shirley J. Reynolds, of Goshen, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at The Waters of Syracuse. She was born on December 31, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Barbara Turpin Kiser.

Shirley loved to give and to take care of people, and that generosity was a defining part of who she was. Those who knew her will remember her for her kindness and for the way she looked after others.

On March 17, 1982, she married Marvin Reynolds. They shared their marriage until his passing in 2008. Their life together remained an important part of her story and of the memories held by those who loved them.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Misty Reynolds; grandchildren, Jared Gentry, Samantha Gentry, Abigail Gentry and Landon Reynolds; great grandchildren, Anakin Alvarenga and Jamison Marshall; and sister, Misty McGowen. She is preceded in passing by her parents, husband, and sister, Crystal Suane.
