Shane Evans

Shane Christopher Evans, a lifetime resident of North Webster, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was 51 years old.  

 

Shane was born to John C and Patricia A (Bisig) Evans on May 20, 1971. He was a 1989 graduate of Wawasee High School and worked for Parker Hannifin in Goshen. 

 

More personally, Shane was a lover of all things outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was a generous person with a big heart who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Shane enjoyed watching NASCAR and Sprint Car. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. He also enjoyed driving through the countryside and the Tri County Wildlife Area. 

 

On March 22, 2001, Shane was married to Patricia A Clarke. Pat survives at home. Additional survivors include three step-children: Amiee (Josh) Stufflebeam of North Webster, Travis Coon of Sioux Falls, SD and Brandon (Mandy) Hedeen of Sioux Falls, SD; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Stacie Koedyker of rural Leesburg; nephew, Blake Wagner of rural Leesburg and mother, Pat Evans of Pierceton. He was preceded in passing by his father, John Evans. 

 

Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services is entrusted with his care. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home- Owen Chapel of North Webster, 8056 East 500 North. Beginning at 6 o'clock, Pastor Mike Beezley will officiate Shane's Life Celebration Funeral. Final interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
