Scott L. Kessler

Scott Lee Kessler, of Columbia City, passed away peacefully with family at his side on July 10th, 2026 at the age of 70. He was born on April 4, 1956 in Auburn.

Scott is survived by wife of 49 years (06/25/1977) Tammie; son, Ryan Kessler, daughter, Tina with husband Charles Darr, son, Scotty with wife Danielle Kessler, son Robert with wife Autumn Kessler, and daughter of his heart Jennifer Ruse. Scott has 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Marion David Kessler Sr. and Connie (Hart) Gruber, brothers Marion David Kessler Jr (Red), Robert Allen Kessler, and grandson, Donovan Lee Kessler.

Scott worked for Essex Wire and Cable for 25 years, and an over the road driver for 20 years and retired in 2020. Scott loved his family and enjoyed being near them. From playing cards, going to hockey games, or just spending time enjoying good food and reminiscing he wanted to be a part of it. Scott also had a never ending love for sports, camping, traveling, and of course his furry best friend Roxy. He was loved deeply and will be sorely missed.
