Sara Jo Estes, lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on March 29, 1977, in Warsaw, Indiana, she was the daughter of Stanley and Susan Estes (Price).
Sara was deeply devoted to her daughters, Brieanna, Lexi, and Hanna. She found immense joy in the laughter and love shared with her grandchildren, Lily Mae and Callie Jo. They brought light to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Sara embraced life with a sense of humor and adventure, and her zest for life was evident to all who knew her. She had a free spirit and a quiet strength that drew people in, always finding joy in the simple moments and laughter in the hard ones. Whether she was out fishing, playing a round of golf, or simply spending time with loved ones, she brought light wherever she went.
Sara will be forever missed by her daughters, Brieanna Longacre, Lexi (Brayton) Taylor and Hanna Longacre and granddaughters, Lily Mae Perotti and Callie Jo Taylor. She also leaves behind her boyfriend, Eric Wixson, her mother, Susan Estes, and her siblings, Daniel Hurd and Jennifer Hlutke. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Estes, and her brother, Brandon Hurd. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
