Sally A. Henderson, age 85, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born on November 10, 1940 in Warsaw, Indiana to John and Maggie (Witham) Slater. She married Robert Henderson on October 26, 1957.
Sally devoted many years to working at Da-Lite Screen and worked in the school cafeteria where she enjoyed seeing the kids. Her career was an important part of her life, reflecting her steadfast dedication and reliability.
Beyond her professional life, Sally was a woman of many passions and talents. She cherished taking care of her grandchildren, finding immense joy in their company. Her baking skills were well known among family and friends—her cookies and meals were a testament to her loving nature and culinary prowess. An adventurous soul, she enjoyed riding motorcycles alongside her husband, sharing moments of exhilaration and companionship on the open road.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Henderson of Warsaw, whose partnership was a foundation of her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her children: Deb (Mark) Sproul, Pam (Jon) Vance, and Rick (Julie) Henderson, all of Warsaw or nearby Pierceton. Her extended family includes her grandchildren, Shane Henderson, Shana Carver, Heather Starner, and Ranae Boocher and 12 great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy of love and care. Sally also leaves behind her sisters, Charlotte Slater and Linda Roberts, with whom she shared a lifelong bond. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, whose memory she honored throughout her life.
A Life Celebration Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 25, 2026 with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate.
