Sabas Valencia-Muniz, de 51 años, de Warsaw, falleció el 12 de enero de 2026. Nació el 25 de octubre de 1974, hijo de Sabas Valencia-Rodríguez y María Guadalupe Muniz, en Trojes, Michoacán, México. Su vida se caracterizó por un profundo amor por su familia, un vibrante sentido del humor y una pasión por los placeres sencillos de la vida.

Sabas sirvió con honor en el Ejército Mexicano. Tenía una afición particular por la comida, especialmente los mariscos, y encontraba gran alegría en la música, sobre todo en los corridos. Su gusto por lo dulce y su amor por las golosinas añadían otra faceta al espíritu alegre que personificaba.

Sabas fue un padre dedicado para sus hijos: Luis (Iris Uresti) Valencia García de Goshen, Marco (Julio Rivera) Valencia García de Warsaw y Sabas (Carely) Valencia de Warsaw. Sus nietos son Amelia Valencia, Luis Valencia Jr. y Diego Valencia. Le sobreviven sus hermanos: Ana María Devia, José (Susana) Valencia y Rafael (Rocío) Valencia. Sus padres, Sabas Valencia-Rodríguez y María Guadalupe-Muñiz, también permanecen como parte de la amorosa familia que tanto estimaba. Su familia fue su mayor orgullo y alegría.

Se invita a la comunidad a unirse a familiares y amigos para celebrar la vida de Sabas durante el velorio el 16 de enero de 2026, de 3:00 PM a 8:00 PM en Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580, seguido de un Rosario a las 6:00 PM. Se realizará una visita adicional el 17 de enero de 2026, de 10:00 AM a 11:00 AM en la Iglesia Católica Sacred Heart, con la Misa comenzando a las 11:00 AM, oficiada por el Padre Wilson Corzo. El sepelio cristiano continuará después en el Cementerio Oakwood.

Sabas Valencia-Muniz, age 51, of Warsaw, passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born on October 25, 1974 to Sabas Valencia-Rodriguez and Maria Guadalupe-Muniz in Trojes, Michoacan, Mexico. His life was characterized by a deep love for his family, a vibrant sense of humor, and a passion for the simple joys in life.

Sabas served honorably in the Mexican Army. He had a particular fondness for food, especially seafood, and he found great joy in music, especially corridos. His sweet tooth and love for candy added yet another layer to the joyful spirit he embodied.

Sabas was a devoted father to his children, Luis (Iris Uresti) Valencia Garcia of Goshen, Marco (Julio Rivera) Valencia Garcia of Warsaw, and Sabas (Carely) Valencia of Warsaw. His grandchildren, Amelia Valencia, Luis Valencia Jr., and Diego Valencia. He is survived by his siblings, Ana Maria Devia, Jose (Susana) Valencia, and Rafael (Rocio) Valencia. His parents, Sabas Valencia-Rodriguez and Maria Guadalupe-Muniz, also remain as part of the loving family that he held dear. His family brought him immense pride and joy.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sabas's life during his Life Celebration Visitation on January 16, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Further visitation will take place on January 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Mass starting at 11:00 AM with Father Wilson Corzo officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will follow to Oakwood Cemetery.

Sabas Valencia-Muniz will be remembered for his loving heart, light-hearted nature, and the cherished moments shared with his family and friends. His legacy will continue to live on through the love and laughter he gifted to those around him.
