Ron Elliott

Ronald Wayne Elliott, age 84, of Hoffman Lake, Warsaw, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly from a hemorrhagic stroke on July 19, 2025. Born on August 31, 1940, in Argos, Indiana, Ron was raised in Nappanee and graduated from Nappanee High School in 1958. He was the son of Merrill W. and Yvonne Jane (Feighner) Elliott.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Ron lived a life centered on family, faith, and service to others. He shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with his wife and lifelong companion, Patricia K. “Pat” (Masterson) Elliott. Together, they built a loving home and raised three children: Brooks (Sheila) Elliott of Indianapolis, Bane Elliott of Hoffman Lake, and Bobbi (Trent) Gongwer of Wakarusa.

Ron was a passionate and highly respected natural gas measurement technician, dedicating 37 years of his career to Trunkline Gas Company of Texas. His knowledge, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

In his personal life, Ron was a man of many interests and joys. He loved golfing, fishing with his family, coaching Little League baseball, gardening, and finding hidden treasures while thrift shopping. Ron especially cherished the time he spent in Sarasota, Florida. He was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs and never missed a game.

Ron’s greatest pride was his family. He was a loving and proud grandfather to Spencer, Sidney (deceased), Emily, Evan, Stauncy, Addison, Auston, and Katelynn. He was kind-hearted and generous, always willing to lend a hand—whether he knew you or not. His legacy of warmth and selflessness will live on through all who knew him.

Ron and Pat were faithful members of Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Merrill and Yvonne Elliott, and grandson, Sidney.

Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A Life Celebration celebrating Ron’s life and legacy will be held on his birthday, Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 105 E. Hovey Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a truly remarkable man.
