Roger R. Chain

Roger R. Chain, 88, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. He was born on February 7, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH to William & Esther (Faulkenburg) Chain.

He grew up in Cincinnati, attended high school there, and was married to Dorothy “Dottie” (Davis) Mofford who preceded him in 2001. He retired from Miller Furniture in Wabash after 33 years as a warehouse foreman and moved to Warsaw in 2014 from Peru.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Jena (Chris) Kerr of Silver Lake

2 Sons – Charles Mofford of Sliver Lake & Scott Davis of Fort Wayne

7 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren

He was preceded by his parents wife, daughter – Kelly Tye Womack, sister – Mary Lou Beeler, and 4 brothers – Glen, Robert, Bill, and Willard Chain.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial bequest may be given to Donor’s Choice.
