Robert L. "Bob" Baugher

Robert L. “Bob” Baugher Jr., 76, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 2:45 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 16, 1945 in Wolf Lake, IN to Robert C. & Constance (Cline) Baugher Sr.

He graduated in 1964 from Syracuse High School, attended Ball State University in Muncie, and was a United States Navy veteran where he served as a radar man 3rd class. He was a lifetime Syracuse / Cromwell area resident and was married on March 29, 1997 in Cromwell, IN to Cynthia A. "Cindy" Bieghler who survives. He retired from Sroufe’s Manufacturing in Ligonier and was former co-owner of the Baugher-Wysong car dealership in Cromwell.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Turkey Creek Conservation Club, and attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel all in Syracuse. He also served as a volunteer fireman & E.M.T in Cromwell.

He is survived by:

Wife – Cindy Baugher of Cromwell

Daughter – Jordan (Ryan) Johnson of Dripping Springs, TX

2 Grandchildren – Connor and Madison

3 Half Sisters – Tammy Baugher of Fort Wayne, Karen (Jeff) Dickenson of Sarasota, FL and Sherry (Ken) Tucker of Massachusetts

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the Indiana Village Cemetery near Cromwell.
