Robert Wise

Robert F. (Bob) Wise, 71, of Milford died at 7:52 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Milford. He was born on October 28, 1936 in New Paris to Arthur F. & Charlotte W. (Umbaugh) Wise.

He was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated in 1954 from Milford High School. On August 18, 1957 in Nappanee, IN he married Sally E. Stouder who survives.

He retired on April 1, 1996 from Thermogas in New Paris after 25 years. He was a member of the Milford Christian Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.

4 Sisters - Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) Schutz of Bremen; Mrs. Louis (Mary Alice) Stump of New Paris; Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Wemple of Albuquerque, NM; & Janice Yoder of Wakarusa

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Sister - Sandra Wise & 1 Grandson

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Milford Christian Church, 201 N. Henry St., Milford, IN with Rev. Stephen Leininger of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.
