Joe Bayne

Robert Joseph Bayne, known to most as Joe, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on January 11, 1946, he was the son of Jim and Mary Bayne (Martin).

Joe was a kind and simple man who was known by many. Throughout his life, he worked as a machinist and woodworker, skills he took pride in and shared with those around him. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

Joe enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid hiker who loved to camp and spend time in nature. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Most of all, Joe loved his family and treasured his time spent with them making memories.

Joe is survived by his son Todd and daughter-in-law Jessica Bayne of Warsaw, his grandchildren, Keegan (Avery) Bayne and Kile Bayne of Warsaw, his brother, Steve Bayne of Michigan, and his longtime companion Wilma Davis. Joe's parents preceded him in death.
