Richard W. "Dick" Brandon, 82, of Goshen, IN (formerly of Syracuse) died 5:35 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1927, in Auburn, IN to Worden M. and Ruth E. (Price) Brandon.

He graduated in 1946 from Auburn High School and attended International Business College in Fort Wayne, IN. He was married on August 28, 1948 in Hamilton, IN to Bonnie L. Haughey who survives. He retired in 1992 from Furst Macness Feed Company in Freeport, IL after 8 years and formerly worked for Moreman Manufacturing Company in Quincy, IL for 22 years.

He lived in Syracuse 33 years before moving to Goshen in 2008. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Syracuse and the American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse.

He is survived by:
Wife - Bonnie Brandon of Goshen;
2 Daughters - Mrs. Steve (Dianna) Russell of Elkhart & Mrs Steve (Sandra)Bates of Elkhart;
1 Son - Gary (wife, Karen) Brandon of Columbia City;
8 Grand, & 10 Gt. Grandchildren;
1 Sister - Mrs. Wilmer (Janice Quinlan) Bultemeier of Bonita Springs, FL.

He was preceded by his parents & sister - Kathleen Williams

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 1413 N. Long, Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Eastway & Rev. Mike Neff of the church officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial bequest may be given to St. Andrews United Methodist Church or Care at Home Hospice, P. O. Box 723, Goshen, IN 46526. Envelopes will be available at the Church.
