Rayford "Ray" Lambert

November 27, 1953 — May 10, 2023

Warsaw

Rayford Lambert, also known as Ray, passed away on May 10th, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 27th, 1953, in Natchez, Mississippi and was the son of J.W. and Helen Lambert.

Ray married his first wife Valerie and enjoyed their marriage for 41 years before her passing. Together they had three sons named Adam (Jennifer), David and Terry Lambert. He later found love again with his wife, Dale. The two met in the 4th grade and did not see each other again for 50 years. The two were married on June 4, 2016, and have been inseparable ever since.

Professionally, Ray spent most of his career working for Bethlehem Steel for 31 years. He also was a school bus driver for many years to support his family.

He will always be remembered for his kind demeanor and good sense of humor. Ray was a sweet and loving husband who brought joy to his family’s lives. He enjoyed singing karaoke with friends and spending time at the casino. His passion was motorcycles, particularly his new Harley Davidson, which led him to travel to 48 out of the 50 states in America - an impressive accomplishment! His love for motorcycles brought excitement to his life but he cherished nothing more than being with family.

Ray will be greatly missed by his wife, Dale Lambert; sons, Adam (Jennifer) Lambert, David Lambert, and Terry Lambert; stepchildren, Michelle Albert, Heather (Rob) Butler and Nicole Rodriguez; grandchildren, Austin, Tristin, Haleigh, Leslie, David and Nikki; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Riley; sister, Carolyn Gilland; niece, Michelle; and nephew, Brian. He was preceded in passing by his parents J.W. and Helen Lambert; first wife, Valerie; as well as his brothers James Earl Lambert, Donald Lambert, and Calvin Lambert.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation services is entrusted with Ray’s care. His family and friends are grieving privately. To leave a condolence, please visit www.TitusFuneralHome.com
