Pedro M. Garza, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on November 7, 1945, in Weslaco, Texas, he was the son of Felipe and Maria Garza (Medelez). Pedro lived a life characterized by hard work and loyalty to his family and friends.

Pedro’s professional career was characterized by his commitment and leadership. For two decades, he served as a supervisor at Maple Leaf Farms, where his reliability earned him great respect. Later, he worked for Biomet until his retirement in 2008.

On October 31, 1970, Pedro married Martha Ibarra, beginning a lifelong partnership that was the cornerstone of his proudest accomplishment, his family. Together, they nurtured a loving family, which grew to include their daughter Maria, sons Pedro Jr. and Pablo, and a cherished circle of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pedro’s family remembers him lovingly for his warmth and charm.

Beyond his professional and family life, Pedro enjoyed the simple pleasures. He found happiness in fishing, mowing the lawn, singing, and was an avid fan of football, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts. His interests highlighted the many parts of a man who valued both hard work and the joy found in everyday moments.

Pedro was deeply loved by his family, including his wife Martha Garza; his children Maria (Matthew) Brabec and Michael Compton, Pedro Garza Jr., and Pablo (Heather Rose) Garza; along with his grandchildren Tyger L. Garza, Michael A. Compton, Arabella M. Compton, Drake M. Brabec, Leo R. Brabec, Pablo R. Garza Jr., Adrian P. Garza, Johnna A. Garza, Vince C. Garza, Sydney J. Garza; and his three great-grandchildren. He was also a cherished brother to Diana Garza, Maria Rivas, Tonia Hernandez, and Felipe Garza Jr. His life is further remembered alongside those who have preceded him in death, including his beloved parents, Felipe and Maria Garza (Medelez); his son Roman Garza; and his sisters Maria Villarreal, Erma Villarreal, Margarita Ballin, Gumesinda Salinas, and Viola Cruz.

Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Pedro’s care. Friends and family may gather for visitation on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr, Warsaw, IN 46580. He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.
