Nathan Collier

May 1, 1984 — February 22, 2023

Fort Wayne

Nathan R. Collier, of Fort Wayne and formally of Pierceton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 38.

Born in Fort Wayne on May 1, 1984, Nathan was one of four children of Timothy and Deborah (Bolinger) Collier. He graduated from Whitko High School in 2003. Professionally, he worked for Frisco Lending Services as an Applications Architect where he honed his skills building backend software and reporting systems for a company he loved. His superpower was being able to see gaps and holes in problems and create solutions for them.  On August 11, 2012, Nathan was united in marriage to his love, Sherina Miller at the Old Train Depot in Pierceton. The two share three sons, Varian, Abbott, and Silas.

Nathan loved being outdoors and working on his unique diesel vehicles. He loved tinkering around the house, planning their garden, playing outside with his boys, going on dates with his wife, and cooking up the next family adventure. Most of all, Nathan loved his family and friends. Spending time with them and making memories was something he truly treasured.

Those who survive carrying on his memory include his wife and children, Sherina, Varian, Abbott, and Silas of Fort
Wayne; parents, Timothy and Deborah Collier of Pierceton; sisters, Leslie (Gary) Basinger of Churubusco and
Lindsay (Brian) Runkel of Syracuse; brother, TeJay Collier of Pierceton; mother-in-law, CeCe Miller of Fort Wayne; and his beloved dogs Maude and Phoebee. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many loving friends. He is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Charles and Valda Collier, Richard and Marilyn Bollinger, and his father-in-law Kenny Miller.
