Nancy Jane Shock (Hall) 48, of Syracuse died 10:25 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the home of her sister following an extended illness. She was born February 10, 1960 in Bradenton, FL to Robert E. & Nancy Diane (Dietrick) Shock.

She lived most of her life in the Syracuse area and graduated in 1978 from Wawasee High School. She was member of the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse and previously attended the North Webster Church of God. She was previously employed at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse for 2 years, The Papers Inc. in Milford for 10 years, and did babysitting out of her home for many years.

She is survived by:

1 Daughter - Kaylin Hall of Syracuse
1 Son- Kory Hall of Syracuse
1 Grandson - Landyn
Parents - Bob & Diane Shock of Syracuse
2 Step-Daughters - Kaylah Hall of North Webster, & Ashlea Hall of Seymour, IN
1 Step-Son - Michael Hall of North Webster
1 Sister - Mrs. Gerald (Deborah) Conner of Syracuse
2 Brothers - John (wife, Susan) Shock & Gregory (wife, Sandra) Shock both of Syracuse

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 23, 2008 at the Vineyard Community Church, 10121 N. St. Rd. 13 Syracuse, IN with Pastor Kent Butcher officiating. Private family graveside services will be held at the McClintic Cemetery in Syracuse at a later date.

Memorial bequest may be made to the Nancy Jane Shock Memorial Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or church.
