Michael R. "Mike" Newsom

Michael R. “Mike” Newsom, 66, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at 12:23 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on August 4, 1955 in Freeport, IL to Michael & Vivian (Woods) Newsom.

He lived most of his life in the Fort Wayne area and was formerly employed at the Painter’s Union & Hanna Brothers Painting Company in Fort Wayne.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Amber (Bryce) Fox of Fort Wayne

Son – Joshua (Melissa) Newsom of Fort Wayne

Grandchildren – Brandon, Cody & Skye Martin, David, Annika & Grace Newsom, and Rhett Holman

Brother – Ronnie (Patricia) Newsom of Tumbling Shoals, AR

He was preceded in death by his parents, son – Chance Newsom, & grandson - Enoch Newsom.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Private family services will be at a later date.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
