Michael Eugene Scott

Michael Eugene Scott, age 66, of Leesburg, passed away surrounded by his family on January 17,2024, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and love. Born on May 22, 1957, to Marvin and Peggy (Lindburg) Scott in Loudon, Tennessee. Michael embraced life with passion, bringing joy to all those around him.

Growing up in Loudon, Michael graduated from Loudon High School with the class of 1976. Shortly after graduating Michael made his home in Warsaw.  

Michael worked at Tecomet where he devoted 35 years before retiring. His work ethic was unwavering; he approached each task with diligence and determination. Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed many outdoor hobbies. He enjoyed caring for his yard and mowing the grass. Additionally, fishing in his own pond provided a serene escape from the demands of everyday life. Michael cherished these special moments when he was with his family. Michael loved riding his Harley motorcycle and the freedom it brought to him while on the open road.

Michael's greatest source of happiness was undoubtedly his family—a loving father and friend. He cherished every moment spent with them and consistently demonstrated his unconditional love and support. Whether it was attending family gatherings or simply relaxing at home surrounded by loved ones, Michael treasured these precious moments.

Michael is survived by his son Cody (Brooke) Ong of Leesburg, John Ong of Warsaw and daughter Jessica (Jamison) Shepherd; grandchildren, Kris Cox, Aidan Ong, Addalyn Ong, Carter Young, Grayson Young, Leighton Ong, Logan Shepherd, Jaxton Shepherd and Kacie Shepherd. He is also survived by  Wayne (Katherine) Scott and Lonnie "Butch" Arden. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Angela Cox; siblings, Marvin Scott and Cindy Scott.

The family will mourn his passing privately and celebrate his life at a later date in Tennessee. Arrangements were entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services of North Webster.
