Michael Theodore Rostochak, age 95, passed away at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw on March 26, 2026. He was born in Johnstown, PA. to George & Anna (Putoski) Rostochak.
He moved to Indiana with his sister in Goshen, IN, where he would meet his wife, Wilma Werstler. They moved to Pierceton, IN, where they raised their children and continued to live.
Mike worked as a tool and die maker, with his last employment as the Superintendent at Weatherhead Tool, later becoming Dana Weatherhead in Columbia City, IN.
Mike enjoyed attending all the activities of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with having family & friends visits. He enjoyed music, playing several instruments, the banjo his favorite. He always found some fun in everything, leaving fond memories with many.
Mike will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle. He never lost his sense of humor, enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his children Michael Rostochak Jr.(Martha) of Larwill, IN, Rebecca Mason (Doug) of Cromwell, IN, Diane Rostochak of Albion, IN, and daughter in law Molly Rostochak of Leesburg, IN, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded by his wife Wilma (Werstler), his son Jeffrey Rostochak, and siblings; John Rostochak, Anne Lichtenstein, Mary Blough, Julia Troyer, George Rostochak, Helen Kwiatkowski, Joe Rostochak, Elizabeth Evanik, Margaret Johnson.
Titus Funeral Home, 8056 East 500 North, North Webster, IN is entrusted with the care of Mike. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Immediately following his funeral will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton, IN. Donations may be given to the Kosciusko Senior Services, Meals on Wheels.
