Michael Jay Beck

Michael Beck, known to many as Mike, passed away on May 26, 2025, in Toledo, OH. He was born on June 13, 1959, in Elkhart, Indiana. Mike attended Elkhart Memorial High School and learned the importance of hard work at an early age. This dedication supported him throughout his career, where he served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 16 years primarily as a radio man on the U.S.S. Peterson and then spent many years with Da-Lite Screens.

Mike was an avid reader, with a special interest in military history. He enjoyed baseball and going to concerts but especially cherished his time with family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Peggy Beck. He leaves behind his stepchildren, Trent (Lili) Stamper, Holly (Brandon) Tackett, Katie Stamper and Quinten (Brette) Stamper. He was a proud grandfather to Wyatt, Laila, Arabella and Jack. He also is survived by his siblings: Dave Beck, Ruth Dilling, Bruce Beck and Margaret (Robert) Breben.

Having found love twice, Mike was a proud grandfather to Lorenzy, Katie, Claudia, and Hannah, and great grandsons, Caleb and Owen. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Zamora-Beck, his parents, Charles and June Beck and his granddaughter, Adalin Stamper. He will be remembered for his warmth, dedication to family, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw is entrusted with care of Mike and his family. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 3rd beginning at 3; a Life Celebration Funeral will be at 7 pm with Pastor Don Plank officiating.
