Meredith L Mignery, age 90, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on July 20, 2026 in Butler, Indiana. She was born on September 25, 1935 in Syracuse, Indiana to William Ray and Lenora Pauline (Knafel) Hess, She married Michael James Mignery on December 24, 1951 in Goshen, Indiana. He passed away on June 11, 2017.

Meredith attended Goshen High School, laying the foundations for a life rooted in loyalty and hard work. She embraced her role as a seamstress at AAA Marine Covers in Cromwell, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. Her craftsmanship and attention to detail left a lasting impression on those with whom she worked.

Beyond her professional life, Meredith found joy and relaxation in the simple pleasures of boating at Wawasee, a pastime she held dear through the years. Her appreciation for the beauty of nature and the peaceful waters reflected her gentle spirit and provided cherished memories for herself and those who joined her.

Faith and fellowship played vital roles in Meredith's life. She was a valued member of Rock Church in Cromwell and, throughout the years, contributed her energy and friendship as a former member of the Wawasee Homemakers Club. Through these communities, Meredith cultivated lasting relationships and made a positive impact on those around her.

Meredith's life was enriched by the love and companionship of her family. Those who survive her include her loving children, Cindy Davidson of Alabama, Michelle Mignery of Syracuse, Mark (Sandy) Mignery of Auburn; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Nancy Mignery of Florida. Each held a special place in her heart and were the beneficiaries of her unwavering support and affection.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Patrick Michael Mignery; grandson, Christopher L. Mignery; great-granddaughter Samantha Muchowicz, and her half-sister, Sandy Haviland. Meredith's enduring bond with those who have gone before her lives on in the shared memories and stories of those she leaves behind.
