Melinda S. (Mindi) Allen, 47, of Milford, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2008 in her residence. She was born on January 19, 1961 in Fort Wayne, IN to Paul Roger & Dorothy L. (Danner) Allen.
She lived most of her life in the North Webster/Milford areas. She graduated in 1979 from Wawasee High School and attended Ivy Tech College, Warsaw. She was raised in the Lutheran Church and attended the Warsaw Community Church. She was employed at Zimmer Inc. in Warsaw for the past 3 years and was formerly employed at Brock Manufacturing and Royal Crown both of Milford for many years.
She is survived by:
1 Daughter - Mrs. Aaron (Natasha) Hoffman of Milford
Father & Mother - Roger & Dottie Allen of Leesburg
1 Sister - Mrs. Carl (Lorell) Bevins of Warsaw
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. David Smitley of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating.
