Mary Ann Haskins, 71, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:47 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw, IN. She was born on December 4, 1949 in East Chicago, IN to George & Ann E. (Hora) Matson.

She graduated in 1968 from Roosevelt High School in East Chicago, IN and was married on June 28, 1969 at St Mary’s Church in East Chicago, IN to Ronald W. “Ron” Haskins who survives.  She was formerly employed at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN in the dietary department for 5 years, Turner Construction Co. in Chicago, IL in accounting / payroll department for 7 years, and was a legal secretary in Highland, IN and Warsaw, IN for 30 years. She formerly lived in East Chicago, IN for 21 years and Griffith, IN for 20 years before moving to the North Webster area in 2002.

She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Syracuse and formerly attended the St. Mary’s Church & Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in East Chicago, IN. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, loved her family, and enjoyed the lake.

She is survived by:

Husband – Ron Haskins of North Webster

Daughter – Amber K. Haskins of Rochelle, IL

Son – Ronald W. (Pam) Haskins II of North Webster

2 Granddaughters – Devin M. Haskins and Alexandria M. Johnson both of North Webster

Great Grandson – Koen M. Lents of North Webster

Sister – Rose Dollinar of Crown Point, IN

2 Brothers – Robert Matson of North Webster, IN and Frank (Linda) Matson of Hammond, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister – Nancy Patton, 2 brothers – Michael & Donald Matson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home with Fr. Larry Biller officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN.

Preferred memorials may be given to the St. Jude Children’s research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
