Mary Louise Robbins, age 96 of Warsaw passed away at Cedar Creek Assisted Living on March 28, 2024. She was born in Warsaw on December 19, 1927, and spent the majority of her life there before retiring to Florida.
Mary was the daughter of Everett and Mary (Adams) Vanator. She was married to Floyd Glasier “Gla” Robbins on January 4, 1947 in Warsaw. The pair shared more than 63 years together before his passing.
Professionally, Mary and Gla both worked at the water company in Warsaw for more than 34 years. They drove to work together every day; she worked in the office while Gla worked in the water treatment facility.
Mary and Gla were essentially inseparable. They traveled together to almost every state, pulling their travel trailer. Mary enjoyed crafting, especially crochet, ceramics, and sewing. She also enjoyed card games, and games of every kind.
Those who survive include a daughter, Susan Creamer of Warsaw; son, Tom (Barbie) Robbins of Dade City, FL; five grandchildren: Tina Alcala of Warsaw, Melissa Rupe of Warsaw, Keith Robbins, Jeff (Kelly) Rupe of Chesterton & Jason Robbins of Warsaw; and great grandchildren: Noah, Landon, Everett, Andrew, Sarah, Hannah, Alex, Cody, Kyle, Tyler, Alex, Nadallie, Naudia and Nolen. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren, her extended family and her "Cedar Creek Girls".
She was preceded in passing by her husband and grandson, Brett Robbins.
Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw is entrusted with care of Mary and the family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Noon in the funeral home - visitation will take place for one hour prior. Pastor Rick Hurley of Winona Lake Community Church will officiate.
