Mary Grimm

Mary A. Grimm, age 59, of Tippecanoe, passed away on June 4, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1967 to Ronald Spaulding and Gail (Sullivan) Sagun.

Her life was marked by a quiet strength and a deep passion for horseback riding, an activity that brought her immense joy and a profound connection to the natural world.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her son, Anthony Spaulding of Wabash; her step-father, Charles Sagun of Tippecanoe; and her sisters, Kathy Spaulding of Bourbon, Missouri, Misty Brown of Warsaw, and Jamie Spencer of Warsaw. She is also survived by her brother, Harold VanDoren of Akron, and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her presence in their lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; husband, Richard Grimm; her daughter, Tehya Grimm, her son, Christopher Grimm, and her brother, Ronald Spaulding, Jr. Their memories remain close to the hearts of all who knew Mary.

Mary’s life was one of warmth, dedication, and love for her family. Her passion for horseback riding exemplified her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. Those who had the privilege of knowing Mary will remember her kindness and the quiet way she touched lives.
