Marilyn Sue McClish, 77, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 4:27 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. She was born on July 24, 1944 in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert Allen & Charlotte (Coy) Headford.

She grew up in Fort Wayne, attended High School in Fort Wayne, and has lived in Warsaw for over 20 years. She was married on January 3, 1962 in New Haven, IN to Donald Ray McClish Jr. who preceded her in death on June 26, 1995. She formerly worked as a dental manager in Indianapolis and served as the church secretary for Bible Baptist Church in Auburn. She also formerly worked at Zales Drugs as a pharmacy tech in Warsaw, Walmart in Warsaw, Seasons Home Care in Warsaw, and private home care.

She adored her grandchildren and was affectionately known as “Crazy Grandma”. She invested her retirement years in being active, caring, fun, spunky, and an influential grandparent to her six grandchildren. She was a passionate gardener, enjoyed rearranging her furniture (much to her family’s amusement), and stayed active in the Warsaw Community Church. She spent lots of time at Bob Evans as one of their favorite patrons and always had a deep connection with her beloved bulldogs.

She is survived:

Daughter – Kelly Jo (Edward) Jarrett of Warsaw

Son – Kenneth Wayne (Shellie) McClish of Economy, IN

6 Grandchildren – Elisabeth (Rob) Meyers, Brandon “Cody” (Brittany) McClish, Wyatt McClish, Danielle (Brian) Gambill, Oliver (Alyssa) Jarrett, and Joshua Jarrett

8 Gt. Grandchildren – Eliott, Pam, Kiarra, Landon, Travis, Waylon, Cameron, and Malia

2 Sisters – Della Headford of Warsaw and Peggy (Kevin) Cooper of Franklin, IN

Brother – Michael (Dianna) Headford of Las Vegas, NV

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother – Robert Headford.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No services are planned.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
