She graduated from Topeka High School in 1949. She married her husband Thomas Mehl on December 31, 1951. Throughout her life, Marcile demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her family and had a loving spirit.

Her professional journey included valuable years spent at Essex Wire, Dytronics, and The Paper. She found joy in a variety of pastimes, embracing the thrill of snowmobiling, camping, and the simple pleasure of mowing her lawn. She cherished her moments spent watching western television shows, particularly enjoying classics like Gunsmoke, Matlock, and The Andy Griffith Show. Her evenings were often filled with laughter as she engaged in spirited games of Euchre and watched Family Feud.

She was deeply devoted to her family, a testament to which is her legacy that includes her children—Vicki (Ray) Neff, Gloria Moody, and Thomas (Sue) Mehl, who reside in Milford. Her family extends to her grandchildren, Dana, Heather, Darcy, Darla, Shanda, and Charity, as well as 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Meredith (Eloise) Yoder and Merl (Sue) Yoder, who will carry fond memories of her with them.

Marcile was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Mehl who passed in 2019, parents and her granddaughter, Lillian. She was also preceded by her siblings, Maxine, Marie, Mildred, Maurice, Marion, Mervin, and Milan, each of whom left a significant void in her heart.
