Lucia Alvarez, age one, gained her angel wings on February 3, 2026, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. She was the cherished daughter of Luis and Katherine Alvarez, and her joyful spirit will continue to resonate within her family.
Lucia was a bright light in the lives of her parents and siblings. Her laughter filled the hearts of all who knew her; she loved watching and playing with her siblings, creating memories filled with joy and innocence. Music was a source of delight for her, as she enjoyed her musical toys that brought her endless happiness. The color pink held a special place in her heart, embodying the sweetness and vibrancy of her young life.
Lucia is survived by her loving parents, Luis and Katherine Alvarez, her adoring siblings, Priscila and Emiliano, and her grandparents, Francisco and Maria Alvarez, and Juan and Martha Medina. She is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry her memory in their hearts.
As her family and friends gather to celebrate Lucia's life, they will find comfort in the memories of her heartfelt giggles and the joy she brought to those around her. Her Life Celebration Visitation will be held at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana, on February 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional visitation will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on February 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the Mass starting at 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow to Oakwood Cemetery.
