Lois Gilliland

Lois Ann (Spahr) Gilliland passed away on December 23, 2025, in Warsaw, Indiana. She was born December 28, 1946, in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Eugene and Betty (Ellis) Spahr who preceded her in death.

She attended Findlay High School, Class of 1965. She married John Gilliland in 1965; they later divorced. Her companion, Bill Trew, passed away in 2020.

She is survived by her three daughters: Julie (John) Grothouse of Warsaw, Indiana; Becky (Toussaint) Craddolph of Euless, Texas; and Carrie (Matt) Harjo of Seattle, Washington. Her grandchildren are James Grothouse of Plymouth, Indiana; Matt Grothouse of Bradenton, Florida; Nick Grothouse and Mark Grothouse both of Warsaw, Indiana; and Austin Craddolph of Euless, Texas. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Susan (Grothouse) Hausotter. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers David (Linda) Spahr of Findlay, Ohio; Paul Spahr of Findlay, Ohio; and Phil (Cheryl) Spahr of Steamboat Springs, Colorado in addition to two nephews and two nieces.

She will be remembered for her fondness for the Beach Boys, Motown music, antiques and chocolate. She had an intense love of family and a wonderful sense of humor. 

The family is grieving privately and a Life Celebration will be held on a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
