Linda R. Prater

Linda R. Prater, 73, of Winona Lake, IN passed away at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, IN. She was born on May 13, 1948 in Adrian, MI to Oliver & Roxie (Holbrook) Prater.

She grew up in Michigan, graduated from Adrian High School, and attended beauty school in Michigan. She moved to the Warsaw / Winona Lake area in the 1970’s and retired from R.R. Donnelley after 30+ years.

She was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Pierceton where she formerly served as Church Treasurer.

She is survived by:

Son – Adam (Misty) Prater of Claypool

3 Grandchildren

Sister – Rebecca (Jim) Hubbard of Frankfort, KY

Brother – Jesse (Stephanie) Butler of Canton, MI

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place at the Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, at the Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh St., Pierceton, IN with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
