Linda Keeven

January 27, 1951 — June 2, 2023

Warsaw

Linda L. Keeven, a lifetime resident of Warsaw, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was 72 years old.

Born to parents Jay VanderKolk and Effie (Bell) VanderKolk, Linda was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and later went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Lutheran Hospital Nursing Program.

She spent much of nursing career working with Dr. George Haymond as an Operating Nurse and later at Kosciusko Community Hospital in the same role. Later, she became a Diabetes Counselor working at the KCH Fitness Center.

More personally, Linda is remembered for her devotion to her family. She was a natural caregiver, a loving wife and mother. Linda had a strong faith in Christ; God used Linda to help Rick, her husband, build his own relationship with Christ. Linda was a great listener and served as an informal counselor for many friends and family members. She enjoyed decorating the family home for each season and enjoyed travelling, especially to a beach.

More than anything, Linda loved her family and was a fighter, strong in the face of adversity and several health issues. Linda hated goodbyes, and with that memory the family is comforted by the promise of Revelation 21:4.

Those who survive with memories to cherish include her husband of more than 44 years, Richard D. Keeven of Warsaw; son, Dr. David (Hannah) Keeven of Louisville; four grandchildren: Madeline, Ronan, Annalise and Fiona and two siblings: brother, Douglas (Laurie) VanderKolk and sister, Janet (Tom) Eichenberg - both of Spotsylvania, VA. She was preceded in passing by her parents.

Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Linda's care. She will be buried privately at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
