Linda Hrynewycz

Linda Hrynewycz, age 77, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on October 10, 1948, in Chardon, Ohio to Neil and Mary (Weaver) Hostetler. She married Roman Hrynewycz on November 25, 1988 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Linda enjoyed a fruitful career at Biomet, where she devoted 11 years of service before retiring in 1998. Her contributions to the company and her work ethic were admired by her colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda had a vibrant array of interests that reflected her warm and nurturing spirit. She was passionate about quilting and crocheting, often creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to those around her. Her love for flowers and gardening filled her home with color and life, serving as a testament to her nurturing personality. Additionally, Linda found pleasure in outdoor activities such as golfing, bowling, and participating in softball and track, embracing every opportunity for joy and camaraderie.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Roman Hrynewycz of Warsaw; loving children, Romanna (Robert) Looney of Warsaw, Deanna (David) Rahill of Laveen, AZ, Michelle (Chris) Slason of Lake Havasu, AZ, Daniel Hrynewycz of Longmont, CO, Lisa Hrynewcz of Warsaw; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren that brought her so much joy. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Carol (Jim) Byler of Hoschton, GA and Edna (Jim) Farmwald of Huntsburg, OH, along with several nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her beloved sisters, Fanny Owens and Martha Lozier, and her brother Pete Hostetler.

Linda’s legacy of kindness, creativity, and resilience will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
