Linda Elliott, age 76, of Warsaw, passed away on August 25, 2026 at Peabody Nursing Home in North Manchester, IN.
She was born on October 15, 1949, to Rouff and Bertha (Bell) Albertson. She married John Bud Elliott on July 22, 1972. They shared forty-one years together before his passing. They spent their years together on a small farm raising horses, goats, and dogs and camping at Francis Slocum in Peru. Linda was a member of Harvest Community Church in Pierceton.
Always striving to improve herself and sharpen her mind, Linda previously worked at Serenade Foods, Country Fiberglass, Worth Tax Service, and Martin Financial Management. She also ran the Entry Booth for the horse shows at Circle E Arena.
Linda had a love for horses and especially enjoyed watching rodeos. Family was at the heart of her life, and she treasured the time she spent with those she loved. She also enjoyed keeping her mind sharp by working on crossword puzzles. Her attention to detail, ability to stir up a little mischief, and devotion to her family were all part of what made Linda so special to those who knew her.
Those left to remember Linda include daughters Misty (Joe) Rucker of Pierceton and Mindy (Andy) Martin of Bluffton, and granddaughter Jalynn Rucker of Pierceton. Linda also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a large church family. She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Roger; and sisters, Wilma Hicks, Velma Spears, Mary Watson, and Barb Kreis.
