Lester E. Rhoads

Lester E. Rhoads, of Claypool, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on March 11, 1975, in Indianapolis, he was the son of William Rhoads and Marsha (Welch) Felke.

Lester was a simple and unpretentious man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, camping, and card games.

Lester is survived by his daughter, Summer Rhoads; mother, Marsha Felke; sister, Amy (Aaron) Bird; and niece, Mackenzie Bird. He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents: Lester Max Rhoads Jr. and Beverly Rhoads, Mary Phelps, and Harold and Maxine Welch.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Lester’s care. The family is grieving privately, and no public services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorials be made to Titus Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
