Lennie Lee Young

Lennie Lee Young, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully at Parkview Whitley in Columbia City on Thursday, July 23, 2026, surrounded by his family at the age of 80. Born in Huntington on March 11, 1946, he was the son of Garl “Pete” and Veradawn Young (Bayshore).

Lennie spent four decades serving as a custodian for the Kosciusko County Highway Department. Within his department, he brought both a strong work ethic and a readiness to support anyone in need.

A man of simple pleasures, Lennie found joy in listening to the scanner and tracking the weather. These hobbies provided him with moments of relaxation and connection to the world around him.

On January 11, 1975, Lennie married Sandra Bays, beginning a marriage that became the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Sandy Young; his son and his daughter-in-law, Adam and Latasha Young; and his grandchildren, Skyler, Lukas and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Lennie. Visitation will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, 58 W 700 S, Claypool, IN 46510, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 Noon.
