Laura Bair, passed away on June 17, 2025, in Warsaw, at the age of 96. She was born in Atwood on April 29, 1929; she had 11 siblings. She spent her formative years in her hometown and graduated from Atwood High School, laying the foundation for a life characterized by hard work and dedication.
Laura had a remarkable career, serving as a dedicated secretary for RR Donnelley for 30 years. More personally she is remembered for her love of Euchre, Skip Bo and Sudoku.
A proud mother and grandmother, Laura is survived by her two sons: Kent (Teri) Bair of Argos and Bruce Bair of Pierceton. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Trenton Bair, Sara (Chaz Courtney) Bair, Alissa (Dan) Perdieu, Keri (Nick) Russell and Riley VanCleave; as well as her great-granddaughter, Carsen Perdieu. She is also survived by a niece: Janet (Tom) Scott. Furthermore, Laura valued the close friendships she cultivated over the years. She is remembered fondly by her life-long friends: Deb Swihart, Janet Zimmer, Karen Schultz, Jo Magus, and Charla Snyder, as well as Ruth and Jan, her friends from Miller's.
Laura took immense pride in her accomplishments. She was married for over 70 years to her beloved husband, Gene Bair, who preceded her in death. Together, they created a warm and loving home, which they shared for over 50 years, an enduring testament to their deep bond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Egolf and Gladys (Pittman) Egolf, and her beloved husband, Gene.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Warsaw are entrusted with care of Laura. A graveside service is planned at Harrison Center's Wooden Cemetery, 7995 W 100 S, Warsaw, IN 46524 friends may gather at the cemetery on August 15th, beginning at 1 p.m.
