Larry W. Troutman

Larry W. Troutman, age 73 of Columbia City, passed away at Millers Merry Manor, Oakpointe on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 5:30 a.m.

Born in Fort Wayne, Larry was the son of the late George Troutman and Evelyn (Kiester) Troutman. He was a graduate of Elmhurst High School and went on to receive technical school training in electronics. Professionally, Larry worked for PHD Hydraulics for more than 30 years, he also worked "in the frame" for the phone company when he was younger.

A private person, Larry found solace on the water; he made his home at Loon Lake where he enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was a fan of sci-fi and Star Wars and a follower of Christ.

Those who survive with memories to cherish and faith that they will see Larry again include his siblings: Gloria Rouns and Ken (Amy) Troutman and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his parents and a brother-in-law, Francis V. Rouns, Jr.

Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse is entrusted with Larry's care. The family is grieving privately; no public services will be held.
