Krystal L. Brubaker

Krystal Leigh Brubaker, lifelong resident of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by her family at the age of 45. She was born on May 7, 1981, the daughter of Steven Bennett and Susan Patrick.

Throughout her life, Krystal was known for her vibrant personality. She was truly full of life, always having fun and sharing a laugh with those around her. Her ornery spirit and love for playful arguments made every gathering brighter. Friends and coworkers alike remember Krystal for her lively sense of humor, her dedication to hard work, and the unmistakable warmth she showed to all.

On June 22, 2012, she married Aaron Brubaker, forming a partnership defined by love, support, and shared adventures. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, family, and memories. Aaron’s nickname for her was “Punky”.

She found joy in sprint cars, watching TV, and had a great love for her dogs. She was a great cook, always ready to try a new recipe, and she took pride in her flower gardening.

Krystal's family was her proudest accomplishment. She is remembered by her husband, Aaron Brubaker; her daughter, Keryn Konkle Bradley, and son-in-law, Trey Bradley; her son, Ian Konkle; and her stepdaughter, Abbie Graciliano. The joys of her life were her grandsons, Jahkai and Jayvonni, whose brought her endless happiness and pride.

She is further survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan and Bill Patrick; father, Steven Bennett; brothers, Steven Bennett and Michael Patrick; grandmothers, Linda Bennett, Barbara Miller and Judith Allen, as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. In remembering those who have gone before her, Krystal is preceded in death by her son, Kinser Brubaker, and grandfathers, Stephen Bennett and James Miller.

Friends and family may gather for visitation on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10:00am until 12:00 pm at Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, IN 46582.
