Kenneth McPeak

July 10, 1947 — September 26, 2021

Kenneth Allen McPeak, a resident of Silver Lake and previously of Florida, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 11:16 p.m. in Fort Wayne at Lutheran Hospital. He was 74 years old.

One of fifteen children, Ken, as many knew him, was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on July 10, 1947. He was the son of Paul McPeak and Evelyn (Lightfoot) McPeak. He spent his formative years in Southwestern Pennsylvania and his professional years as a carrier for the United States Postal Service in Tampa, FL.

He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army having been stationed in Germany. He was also a dedicated Coach and was very active in Kosciusko County’s Special Olympics; he loved supporting his son and other athletes. He was kind, fun-loving and helpful. He loved the Lord and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

United in marriage on June 10, 1980 to his wife, Karen, who survives, other survivors include three children: sons, Kevin McPeak of Silver Lake and Karl McPeak of Tampa, FL and daughter, Michelle Ahler of Honeybrook, PA; 11 siblings and five grandchildren: Logan, Mark, Isabell, Mariah and Matthew. He was preceded in passing by his parents and four siblings.

Friends may join the family for a visitation at Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with Kenneth's Life Celebration® beginning at 2 p.m.
