Katherine Podsiadly, 97, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born July 15, 1920 in Gordon, OH to Frank & Mary (Schlatt) Luburich.
She attended public schools in Detroit, MI and was married on August 21, 1943 in Detroit to Francis Podsiadly who preceded her in 2007. She was a homemaker and moved to Warsaw area in 2015 after living in Highland, IN and Milwaukee, WI for many years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Barbara (Gilbert) Kotas of Warsaw
2 Sons – Charles (Mary) Podsiadly of Germanton, WI & Bruce Podsiadly of Madison, WI
1 Granddaughter – Lisa (James) Poblette
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers – Frank & Peter Luburich.
Cremation will take place. Private family burial will be held at Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorial may be given to donor’s choice.
