Kate Carol Keim, 29, of Mishawaka, IN passed away at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on June 10, 1992 in Indianapolis, IN to David L. & Cathleen C. (Cole) Keim.
Kate was known and loved by many people during her brief life and had quite a few nicknames including “Miss Kate”, “Bug”, “Missy”, “Princess Kate”, “Diva Girl” and “Daddy’s Little Angel”.
Kate attended New Paris Elementary School and loved her fellow classmates, teachers and especially her teacher aides.
Kate previously attended Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and loved singing in the Maple Leaves children’s choir during holiday programs.
Kate lived in the New Paris area before moving to Mishawaka 8 years ago where she was surrounded by support staff and her best friend “Sully”.
Kate had a special way of bringing people into her life and connecting them in a way that no one else could have ever done.
She is survived by:

Half Sister – Sophia Keim of New York
Half Brother – Noah Keim or New York
Grandparents – Sam & Marilyn Cole of Syracuse, Lemoine Keim of Syracuse, and Ruby Beachy of Goshen
Niece, Nephew, and Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Potawatomi Zoo Animal Care Fund. All monies donated will go to support the Monkey exhibit in Kate’s honor (Kate just loved the monkey’s)
